Spot Iron ore prices in China which were witnessing uptrend since last 4 weeks have resisted the increase and have fallen by USD 2/MT.
The Spot iron ore prices had picked up in last 4 weeks as steel mills were seen replenishing the stocks but the prices fell before the long holiday weekend. The market remained sufficiently supplied with the Iron ore and sales of steel not picking up at faster pace the prices fell by USD 2/MT i.e by 4%.
