Japan: Bids rise by $18/t m-o-m in Kanto scrap tender for Feb’23

  • Japan’s Kanto scrap export tender for Feb’23 has concluded today. Bid prices have increased by JPY 2,430/t ($18/t) compared to bids received in Jan’23 tender.
  • A total of 11,500 t of H2 scrap was awarded at an average price of around JPY 53,362/t ($406/t) FAS, SteelMint learnt from sources.
