China: Steel billets prices stable, rebar futures fall d-o-d

Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,770/t ($555/t) on 7 Feb’23. Prices are inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,018/t ($592/t), a decrease of RMB 31/t ($4/t) d-o-d.
