Indonesia: Aluminium ore exports drop 10% in CY’22

Indonesia exported 17.84 mnt of aluminium ores/concentrates in CY’22, a decline of 10% compared to 19.91 mnt in CY’21. Export volumes were largely stable m-o-m, with a marginal rise of 1% to 0.96 mnt in Dec’22.
China was the only importer from Indonesia in CY’22.
Exports by Indonesia dropped 66% from 2.84 mnt in Dec’21.
