India: SAIL-BSP to auction 10,100 t of commercial rails on 8 Feb

SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has scheduled an auction for 10,100 t (60 kg and 52 kg, full length) of commercial rails on 8 Feb’22.

At its last auction on 28 Jan’23, out of 10,200 t, only 1,950 t were booked and the remaining quantity remained unsold due to a high base price. 52 kg rails fetched bids at INR 72,150/t exw and 60 kg rails were sold at INR 42,800/t exw.
