Pakistan: Steel mills raise rebars offers by PKR 30,000/t ($110/t)

Pakistan’s steel makers – Agha Steel, Mughal Steel, and Faizan Steel – have raised rebars offers by PKR 30,000/t ($110/t).
Fresh offers for deformed grade-60 rebar (10-12 mm) are at PKR 301,500- 302,000/t exw ($1,100-1,103/t), including taxes, effective 4 Feb’23. Tradable prices remain lower by PKR 10,000-15,000/t.
Mills have revised prices due to the raw materials shortage and keeping in view the country’s current economic conditions.
