Billet prices have been witnessing a downward trend from the mid of this week.
Offers dropped by Rs 300/MT in last couple of days in most of the locations across India.
“We'll have to wait till Monday for market to show some direction. Trades for Billet in the Southern region and also in Ahmedabad was quite dull due to festive holidays.
In local market, though buying activities are taking place but buyers have come down in terms of volumes.
Hence, offers might be lowered by Rs 200/MT the next day”, said traders based in Chhattisgarh.
