India: Aluminium scrap prices continue to remain firm d-o-d

India’s domestic aluminium scrap prices remained stable d-o-d today. Current prices-

• Tense scrap: INR 168,000/t ($2,051/t)
• Utensil grade: INR 175,000/t ($2,137/t)
• Extrusion grade: INR 181,000/t ($2,210/t)
• All price are ex-Delhi.

The price cut by major primary producers seemed not to have impacted local prices. Meanwhile, LME aluminium futures were down 1.28% d-o-d to $2,583/t at the time of reporting.
