Bangladesh: Bulk ferrous scrap imports largely stable m-o-m in Jan’23

Bulk ferrous scrap imports into Bangladesh remained largely stable with a 0.22% decrease m-o-m at 185,744 t in Jan’23 as compared to 186,151 t in Dec’22.
On a y-o-y basis, imports fell by 19% from 229,175 t in Jan’22.
The US was the top exporter at 101,767 t, followed by the UK at 46,000 t and Australia at 37,977 t in Jan’23.
