Iran: Domestic billets, rebar prices rise amid supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billets and rebar prices saw an upward trend amid limited supply of the same due to a lack of supply of direct reduced iron (DRI) in the domestic market, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 1,000 Rial/kg to 181,500 Rial/kg against 30 Jan’23 prices.
• Rebar prices stood at 215,500 Rial/kg, an increase of 1,000 Rial/kg compared to 30 Jan’23 levels.
