China: HRCs, CRCs prices rise by up to RMB 80/t ($12/t)

China’s domestic CRCs prices rose by RMB 80/t ($12/t) while HRCs prices moved up RMB 70/t ($10/t) today against 20 Jan’23. Current offers-

• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,630/t ($646/t)
• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,170/t ($618/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, including 13% VAT.

SHFE HRC futures for May’23 delivery settled today at RMB 4,262/t ($631/t), up RMB 61/t ($9/t) against 20 Jan’23.
