Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports largely stable y-o-y in CY’22

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 1.6 mnt in CY’22, largely stable (up 2%) y-o-y compared to 1.57 mnt recorded in CY’21.
The USA was the largest supplier at 0.21 mnt followed by Japan at 0.15 mnt.
In Dec’22, ferrous scrap imports by the country increased by 32% m-o-m to 0.11 mnt compared to 0.08 mnt in Nov’22.
