ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) conducted an auction for 40,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe50-53%) from its Dabuna beneficiation plant in Odisha on 27 Jan’23. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 900/wet metric tonne (WMT) against the floor price of INR 750/WMT. The price included royalties, DMF, and NMET and was based on “ex-mines” or “loaded onto truck” conditions.
