Europe: Outokumpu increases stainless steel alloy surcharges for Feb’23

The leading global stainless steel producer, Outokumpu has production facilities in Europe, America and Asia. It’s total production capacity of around 2.8 million tons of cold rolled stainless steel and around 0.5 million tons of hot rolled stainless steel. The company has increased surcharges for stainless steel flat alloy products for Feb’23-

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $3,197/t, higher by $139/t from Jan’23.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $5,437/t, up $539/t m-o-m.
• 430 (En 1.4016): $1,063/t, up $32/t m-o-m.
