India: Jindal SAW’s pellet output rises y-o-y in Q3FY23 on healthy demand

Western India-based Jindal SAW Ltd recorded pellet production at 411,000 t in Q3FY23 against 395,000 t in Q3FY22. Production increased y-o-y on account of continued healthy demand. Meanwhile, total sales were recorded at 398,300 t for the quarter. The pellet maker expects that demand will remain stable due to govt’s focus on infrastructure spending. The company has a pellet production capacity of 1.5 mnt/year.
