Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) will conduct an auction for 1 mnt of coal on 30 Jan’23. Non-coking coal grades of G8, G9, G10, G12, G13 and G14 are offered for the auction, of which low GCV grades (G12, G13 and G14) constitute 88% of the total offered material. It may be mentioned that this is the lowest quantity offered by MCL compared to the quantity offered in the auctions in CY’22.
