Pakistan’s major steel mills – International Steel, Aisha Steel Mills and Hadeed Pakistan Pvt Ltd – have increased prices of cold-rolled coils (CRCs) and coated flat steel products by PKR 10,000/t ($43/t), effective 25 Jan’23. This is the third price hike in January amid an uptrend in global steel and raw material prices along with volatile conversion rates of USD against PKR, sources informed.
