136,000 t of iron ore booked at AM/NS India’s Odisha auction

AM/NS India conducted an auction of 136,000 t of iron ore from its Thakurani mines on 20 Jan’23.

• 28,000 t of crush fines (Fe56-56.9%) were booked at INR 3,100/t against floor price of INR 2,800/t.
• 28,000 t of iron ore lumps (5-18 mm, Fe58-58.9%) were booked at INR 4,210/t while 80,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 58-60.9%) were booked at INR 3,480- 5100/t.
• Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
