Auto parts scrap auctions in western India receive moderate response

In the third week of Jan’23, major auto parts makers in western and northern India held multiple auctions of MS metal and turning scrap. On 17 Jan, Halol, Gujarat-based manufacturer conducted an auction, at which 250 t of steel scrap was booked at INR 41,100/t exw. On the same day, another auction was conducted at which 150 t of auto MS melting scrap was booked at INR 42,100/t exw.
