Orissa Mining Corp, a state owned iron ore miner based in Odisha have fetched higher bids for its iron ore fines for the period February- April 2013, said market sources.
“In recent tender for iron ore fines floated by OMC,bids were high by Rs 700-1,000 per tonne from last quarter on rising spot prices in China and higher offers by private miners. Major participants were iron ore exporters and steel plants based in Odisha.” said one of the participant.

Gandhamardhan- 62% Basis = Rs 2,222/t
Gandhamardhan- 57% Basis= Rs 1,421/t
Koira- 62% Basis= Rs 2,530/t
Daitairi 62% Basis= Rs 1,880/t
