India: Tata Metaliks hikes pig iron prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t)

Tata Metaliks has raised pig iron (both basic and foundry grades) prices by INR 1,500/t ($18/t) amid strong demand and the supply shortage. This is the second hike in foundry grade pig iron prices by the company in last 15 days. Current offers-

• Foundry grade: INR 49,500/t
• Basic grade (Si 1.0-1.5%): INR 46,500/t

Prices are exw-Kharagpur and applicable for Kolkata and Howrah.
