India: Copper prices rise to a 7-month high level

Indian copper prices increased by up to INR 16,000/t d-o-d today on active trade. Current levels are at a 7-month high. Meanwhile, there are few sellers who have held back stocks on hopes of more price hikes. Current prices –

• Armature scrap: INR 6,85,000/t.
• Secondary rods (8mm): INR 738,000/t
• Primary rods (8 mm): INR 793,000/t
