Vedanta’s subsidiary Electrosteel Steels Ltd (ESL) conducted an auction for sale of 60,000 t of iron ore lumps (Fe61%, 10-40 mm) on 13 Jan’23 from its Nadidih, BICO, and Feegrade mines in Odisha’s Sundargarh district. The entire quantity was booked at INR 5,700/t against the base price of INR 5,450/t. Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
