Australian premium hard coking coal (PHCC) prices rose by $9/t d-o-d to $309/t FOB as on 13 Jan’23. The rise came amid the heavy rainfall forecasts in Queensland region, leading to operational disruptions. A deal of 80,000 t of PHCC was concluded at $310/t for 1-10 March laycan.
