India: NTPC to auction 1,826 t of melting scrap from Dadri unit

State-owned power producer NTPC Ltd has scheduled an auction for 1,826 t of mixed melting scrap (MS sheets and plates, gi sheets, ms-ci pipes and fittings, reinforcement steel) from its Dadri unit on 17 Jan’23. The auction is floated on the MSTC platform. Melting scrap HMS (80:20) prices in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, stand at INR 42,000/t DAP, as per SteelMint’s assessment.
