Steel major ArcelorMittal Europe will supply eco-friendly steel (low carbon steel XCarb) to German steel distributor EMW Stahl Service, as per SteelDaily reports. Low carbon steel is produced from steel scrap and renewable electricity, and this product was launched by the company in 2021. The steelmaker aims to reduce carbon emissions by 35% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
