India: Aluminium production falls 3% in Nov’22 while zinc rises 4%

India’s aluminium production fell by 3% m-o-m in Nov’22 to 331,000 t from 341,000 t in Oct, while volumes remained almost stable y-o-y.
Lead production was stable m-o-m at 16,000 t whereas on y-o-y basis production rose 7% from 15,000 t in Nov’21.
Zinc production rose by 4% in Nov to 73,000 t from 70,000 t in Oct, while production rose 6% y-o-y from 69,000 t in Nov’21.
