- POSCO has resumed production at its No. 2 cold-rolled stainless steel mill and No. 1 electrical steel mill in Pohang where operations were suspended since a fire broke out following typhoon Hinnamnor in Sept’22.
- The No. 2 CR stainless steel mill, which restarted on 24 Dec, accounts for 70% of POSCO’s annual production capacity, while the No. 1 electrical steel mill accounts for 60% of POSCO’s grain-oriented electrical steel capacity.
