India: JSPL increases long steel prices by up to INR 1,500/t ($18/t)

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has increased list prices of rebars by INR 1,500/t ($18/t) and wire rods by INR 1,000/t ($12/t), sources informed SteelMint. Post revision, effective prices stand at-

• Rebars (12-32mm, IS1786): INR 61,800/t ($757/t)
• Wire rods (5.5-6mm, SAE1008): INR 59,000/t ($722/t)
• Prices are exy-Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%.
