Ukraine: Ferrexpo’s pellet production falls by 85% in Q4CY22

Ukraine’s Ferrexpo plc, one of the world’s leading pellet exporters, recorded pellet output at 0.46 mnt in Q4CY22, down 85% y-o-y and 49% q-o-q.
Output declined due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and associated logistics limitations.
Its CY22 pellet production declined by 46% y-o-y to 6.1 mnt and sales fell by 46% y-o-y to 6.2 mnt due to the closure of Ukraine’s access to the Black Sea.
