Korea East West Power Company Limited (EWP) is looking forward to purchase 860,000 MT Steam Coal for its various Power Plants.
EWP has floated 3 different tenders, to purchase 860,000 MT Steam coal, depending upon the different shipment schedules and quantity requirements along with specifications. The Coal is to be purchased to meet the operational requirement of its thermal power plants.
Tender 1: Shipment Delivery scheduled between Jul’15-Aug’15
Quantity of Coal to be purchased is 130,000 MT containing min NCV 5,700 kcal/kg for its Dangjin Power Plant. Single fixed price should be quoted on both FOBT and CFR basis.

- Total Moisture (ARB): 15% max
- VM (ADB): 22-38%
- Ash (ADB): 17% max
- Fixed carbon (ADB): 60% max
Tender 2: Shipment Delivery scheduled between Jul’15-Dec’15
Quantity of Coal to be purchased is 210,000 MT containing NCV min 4,600 Kcal/kg (during 1st contract period i.e. Jul-Dec’15) for Dangjin power plant. Single fixed price should be quoted on both FOBT and CFR basis.

- Ash (ADB): 10% max
- Fixed carbon (ADB): 60% max
Tender 3: Shipment Delivery scheduled between Jul’15-Dec’15
Quantity of Coal to be purchased is minimum 260,000 MT containing NCV min 5,700 Kcal/kg during 1st contract period i.e. Jul-Dec’15. From 2nd to 5th year, the quantity requirement of Coal as per shipment delivery scheduled between Jan’16-Dec’19 will be 520,000 MT per year. Single fixed price should be quoted only in FOBT basis. In case the bidder is offering Russian grade coal, the maximum bidding quantity is 260,000 MT.
