India: Tata Steel’s crude steel output rises by 4% q-o-q in Q3FY23

Tata Steel’s crude steel production rose by 4% q-o-q to 5 mnt in Q3FY23 compared to 4.8 mnt in Q2FY23. On y-o-y basis too, output increased by 4%.
Sales volume dropped by 4% q-o-q to 4.73 mnt in Q3 against 4.91 mnt in Q2FY23. On y-o-y basis, volume went up by 7%.
In Apr-Dec’22 (9MFY23), both production and sales registered a rise of 4% to 14.72 mnt and 13.71 mnt respectively.
