Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) conducted an auction for 50,000 t of iron ore lumps from Bellary, Karnataka on 5 Jan’23. According to sources, 4,000 t (5-20mm, Fe59%) was booked at INR 4,320/t, 2,000 t (5-20mm, Fe58.3%) at INR 4,215/t and 4,000 t (20-40mm, Fe59.9%) at INR 4,185/t. All prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
