Indonesia: Stainless steel imports slip 5% m-o-m in Nov’22

Indonesia’s stainless steel imports fell by 5% m-o-m to 14,987 t in Nov’22 compared to 15,843 t in Oct’22, as per customs data.
China continued to be the largest exporter with 8,471 t followed by Japan and Malaysia with 3,975 t and 718 t respectively.
Total stainless steel import volumes by the country were recorded at 2,10,589 t in Jan-Nov’22.
