Major Chinese steelmaker, HBIS Group, has raised its silico manganese tender prices by RMB 100/t ($15/t) to RMB 7,700/t ($1,123/t) for January 2023 deliveries. However, the purchase volume has dropped by 3,900 t m-o-m to 16,700 t for this month. The spot price of silico manganese (65-17 grade) in China stands at RMB 7,375/t ($1,076/t) exw-Guizhou and RMB 7,325/t ($1,068/t) exw-Inner Mongolia, as per SteelMint’s assessment on 3 January 2023.
