Brazil: Iron ore exports rise 7% m-o-m in Dec’22

Brazil’s iron ore exports increased by 6.8% m-o-m to 32.02 mnt in Dec’22 compared to 29.98 mnt in the previous month, as per customs data.
On a y-o-y basis, exports improved by 2.8% as against 31.14 mnt in Dec’21.
In Dec’22, the average price of iron ore shipped from Brazil was $64.6/t FOB, down by $12.8/t y-o-y against $77.4/t in Dec’21.
