Indonesia: Steel billet imports rise over 60% m-o-m in Nov’22

Indonesia’s steel billet imports increased by 64% m-o-m to 451,800 t in Nov’22 as against 276,225 t in Oct, as per customs data.
Oman was the largest exporter at 201,051 t followed by Russia and China at 57,828 t and 51,996 t, respectively.
Cumulative import volumes rose 9% y-o-y to 3.25 mnt in Jan-Nov’22 as against 2.99 mnt in the same period last year.
