South Korea: SeAH Changwon lifts stainless steel prices for January

SeAH Changwon Special Steel increased prices for both stainless wire rods and bars for January, 2023, as per SteelDaily’s reports.
It hiked prices for 300 series wire rods by KRW 200,000/t ($157), 316 by KRW 400,000/t ($315). While, bar prices increased by KRW 200,000/t ($157) for 300 series and for 316 by KRW 400,000/t ($315).
Due to the rise in raw material prices like nickel and molybdenum, the company decided to hike prices.
