Coal India Ltd’s (CIL) coal production stood at 66.4 mnt in Dec’22, registering a rise of 9% m-o-m and 10% y-o-y. Eastern Coalfields Ltd (ECL) attained the highest m-o-m growth of 16% with production reaching 3.2 mnt in December. Meanwhile, SECL’s production rose by 15 % m-o-m to 16.8 mnt. CIL’s production in FY23 (1 April-31 December, 2022) was 479 mnt, up 15.8% from the previous year.
