SAIL’s Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant (CFP) has scheduled an auction for 600 t of silico manganese (Mn 51-54%, 0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 6 Jan’23. Out of the total quantity, 500 t was booked on 13th Dec’22. At the auction, 200 t of Mn: 58% grade material was booked at INR 66,200/t. SteelMint’s assessment of silico manganese (60-14) prices stood at around INR 73,500/t exw-Raipur on 12 December.
