India: NTPC floats 1,000 t of MS scrap auction on 11 Jan

India’s major state-owned power producer, NTPC Ltd, has scheduled an auction for 1,000 t of mix melting scrap (scrap including various MS items & structural steel scrap) from its Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Plant located in Karimnagar, Telangana. The auction is scheduled for 11 Jan’23. Melting scrap HMS (80:20) prices in Hyderabad, Telangana stand at INR 36,000/t DAP, as per SteelMint’s assessment. The auction is floated on MSTC platform.
