- Taiwan’s largest stainless steel producer, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), recently announced a hike in stainless steel prices both in domestic and overseas in January.
- Domestic 304 cold-rolled and hot-rolled was increased by NT$2,500/t, 430 cold-rolled and hot-rolled was hiked by NT$1,500/t, and 316L extra was raised by NT$9,000/t.
- Export price of 304 was up by US$100/t, 430 was by US$50-80/t, and the surcharge of 316L negotiated individually.
