China: Spot iron ore prices up on bullish outlook

The spot prices of iron ore in China increased on the positive market outlook, especially after Chinese government’s announcement of reducing Covid-19 control measures, and eliminating quarantine restrictions for all passengers entering from abroad beginning on 8 Jan’23. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices rose by $2.15/t to $114.65/t CFR China on 27 Dec’22 against 23 Dec’22.
