India: Jharkhand mills conclude 8,200 t of billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 2,800 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,200-44,600/t exw-Ramgarh.
3,300 t of P-DRI and 2,100 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,400-29,700/t and INR 31,800-32,100/t exw-Ramgarh.
Offers were kept higher amid active semis movement as demand improved in the region. Also, escalated finished longs sales created a positive impact on billets demand, SteelMint learnt from market participants.
