China’s domestic billets prices in Tangshan fell by RMB 20/t ($3/t). Prices stood at RMB 3,710/t ($533/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 26 Dec’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,006/t ($575/t), remaining largely stable as against the closing on 23 Dec’22.
