- Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd (SMEL), integrated metal-producing company, has recently acquired Mittal Corp Ltd through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) process, with INR 450 crore into the stainless steel, wire rod, and bar business.
- With this acquisition, the company will establish its manufacturing footprint in Madhya Pradesh and add 1,50,000 t/annum in stainless steel, wire rod and bar mill capacities.
