Indonesian high CV thermal coal prices fell marginally by $2/t w-o-w and assessed at $156.6/t 5800 GAR. Thermal coal demand remained muted due to Covid surge in its biggest buyer, China. Indian buyers are also reeling from plenty of domestic supplies. However, procurement is expected to pick up post-new year, only if Covid cases in China come down.
