- SteelMint’s domestic stainless steel 304 scrap price assessment fell by INR 2,000/t ($24/t) today at INR 136,000/t ($1,643/t) ex-Delhi as against 20 Dec.
- Induction-grade utensil scrap prices were corrected to INR 70,000/t ($845/t) after falling by INR 2,000/t ($24/t) since the previous assessment.
- Scrap prices fell amid lower buying enquiries and weak demand in finished segment.
- LME nickel prices remained largely stable d-o-d at $29,591/t.
