SAIL: Rourkela Steel Plant receives consent to establish new pellets plant

SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant recently received permission from the State Pollution Control Board to establish a pellets plant to modernise and expand the current steel plant. Within the existing facilities, the company plans to construct a pellets plant with a capacity of 2 million tonnes (mnt) per year, in the Sundargarh district of Odisha.
