Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports decline by 8% m-o-m in Nov’22

Taiwan’s ferrous scrap imports were down by 8% to 206,675 t in Nov’22 from 225,724 t in Oct’22, as per SteelMint data.
The US continued to be the top exporter at 65,456 t, followed by Japan and Australia at 58,684 t and 19,876 t, respectively.
A total volume of 2.55 mnt has been imported by the country between the Jan-Nov’22 period, down by 5% in the CPLY.
